Welcome back wonderful people,

Many of you know my deep love for food and more importantly GOOD FOOD!

Lau and I have researched into veganism further then I believe I have ever studied anything, and with our studies we have confidently found tips and recipes that we want to share.

" If you want to make the world a better place, take a look in the mirror and make a change." - Michael Jackson

We have recently been reminded how much we actually love eating clean and healthy choices. With the last year being my transformation year, I have to give a lot of the credit to the way I ate during that time. Loosing 50 pounds for me was a huge wake up call to my gut health and what I put into my body. Being a vegan has a long list of stereotypes that constantly make me giggle, but when all giggles are gone 90% of the time people are asking for tips and tricks to eating healthier. If you can be an example for one person who may be interested in "rabbit food", in my book that is making a change.

Basic on-the-go salad

DISCLOSURE:

Trust me, I still love froyo and pasta just like most 20 ish years old's, and let's have a honest moment... living less then a mile from Crispy Creme it is impossible for me not to wait in line for fresh donuts. At the time of making the switch to a full time healthy balanced lifestyle, I made a promise to still have yummy treats once a month to not create resistance from treats. Lau and I will often go to restraint's that we use to go to often to share a great meat or dairy ( less dairy for me) meal for date night. CREATING a life where you restrict yourself all the time will only cause

difficulties when socializing with your friends or family.

If these blog post does nothing but inspire 1 person to listen to their body then the time spent is every bit important to me. When I realized what foods work well for me, it changes my perspective on health in general.

Loosing my weight I lost, it opened up the conversation of you must be very healthy and fit. Do you workout a lot? ( Most common question... answer : Nope) my job is physically exhausting and so I focus my time on putting vitamins and minerals in my system to help me function.

That is health to me

Lau and I will 90% of the time bring our own dishes to share as we do love encouraging a plant base diet. EXAMPLES ARE ;

4 Layer Dip ( OR 5, 6, 7 ...be creative)

Beans ( IF bought in the store, try vegetarian options)

Avocado mashed with vegan ranch

Olives

Tomato

& Whatever other veggies or toppings you can think of

Pair with dip chips low in salt

Layer each layer thick for the best taste.

Refrigerate for 2 hours before eating or serving.

~Currently eating this exact dish as I am writing this blog post ~

Vegan Ice-Cream ( Five minutes MAX)

2 small banana's

1 cup of almond milk/ coconut milk

TIP: Almond milk makes the texture more creamy ... your welcome :)

1/2 cup of peanut butter

TIP: if you use organic raw peanut butter, use only 1/4 of a cup

Berries as toppings

Blend all together and pour into a wine glass as a special treat when you need one.

~ One of my favorite breakfast in Denmark this summer 2017~

Hopefully these two ideas on quick and easy vegan treats will help you when you just must order Jimmy Johns. They are also able to be frozen ( WHOOP WHOOP).

Next week a few videos will go live that are step by steps on how to prepare "Green Bags" with all the vitamins and healthy greens we need to keep our energy up!

I appreciate all who have stopped by to see our new blog! Lau and I have so many ideas that will be up on this website as the year comes to an end. Thank you!

Till next time,

Brianna & Lau
