I believe that with each step we take to making massage therapy accessible to the public the more lives we as therapists can touch.
Below is my first article that was published on August 24th with the Huckleberry Press. Thank you to Val and Tammy for all of your help!
Creating a company based on the goal of improving each client’s life, has been a complete blessing to myself and my family. Plenty of struggles and wonderful times have happened in the last year and half as my team and I have created Heeling Hands Massage LLC. Heeling Hands is located in Reardan Washington with our clinic open Wednesday, Thursday and Sundays. We also have another leg to our company where we come to your homes and preform professional massage therapy. I find great benefit in bringing massage therapy to the client, as many clients are not able to drive or get to the clinic and this allows different options.
Massage therapy has been around 3,000 B.C, So as you can see it has been around for a long time! Many ways I have heard massage therapy or a massage therapist is; body work, masseuses, spa work, rubbing. At healing hands we keep it simple and just call it like it is, massage therapy. Hot rocks, cupping and aromatherapy are also options at our clinic located at 235 w Broadway Ave Reardan Washington, across from Dean’s Drive-In. I have a very simple approach to my current clients and future. You are a part of every step during the massage. We set goals to achieve, and communicate about pressure and technique in every session. This approach has shown great success in the last 4 years I have been practicing massage.
Working for a clinic in Spokane Washington, I gained additional skills that help me run the clinic and mobile practice efficiently.
The name Heeling Hands originates from my specialty in feet. Trust me, feet are not the scariest part of you. I have had many successful foot focused massages in my career and find that a lot of our daily aches and pains can be decreased by working the feet extensively. I am talking; small muscles you did not even know existed. This is where the transformation happens. In return I find that if I apply more specific work to the feet, naturally other parts of the body will ease in pain. I named my business Heeling Hands Massage LLC, with HEEL relating to the foot.
My ultimate goal for bringing a clinic to Reardan is for the community to have a place to receive massage therapy and feel encouraged from our retail products to buy natural, local products!
Come by the clinic on a Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday to book your next session, or book online through our FaceBook or website. If massage is not your ideal self-care time, come see our natural products found in our front retail lobby. The atmosphere of Heeling Hands will leave you feeling physically better and at ease. Having natural products available in a small town will open new doors to healing.
Till Next Time,
